Who runs this site

This is the personal website of Spencer Walker-Fooks. If you have any question about privacy or your data, email spencer@creatorchaos.com.

What is collected

The site has no forms, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. There is almost nothing to collect:

• Standard server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records ordinary technical information such as your IP address and browser type when a page loads. This is used only to serve the site and keep it secure.
• Anything you email me. The contact link uses Cloudflare's email-address protection to reduce spam. If you write to me, I receive your email address and your message.

Why

The technical data exists only to deliver and protect the site; the email exists only so I can read and reply to you. The lawful basis for both is my legitimate interest in running the site and responding to people who get in touch.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Cloudflare may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies for security; these do not identify you personally.

Sharing

Nothing is sold or shared for marketing. The only third party involved is Cloudflare, which hosts the site and may process data on servers outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Email spencer@creatorchaos.com and I will respond within a month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

If this ever changes, I will update this page and the date above.
